Book 3: Claimed By The Forbidden Lycan-1

Rejected at the altar.

Chased into the night.

Claimed by the one wolf who should’ve never touched me.

My wedding day was supposed to seal my future as Luna.

Instead, my Alpha mate laughed in my face, tore our bond apart before the entire pack, and left me humiliated in white silk and shattered dreams.

I ran-barefoot, broken-straight into the jaws of the forest.

His wolves hunted me down like prey.

Then the shadows moved.

And he stepped out.

King Kane.

The savage, reclusive Lycan ruler everyone fears.

Cold. Ruthless. Untouchable.

He dragged me to safety… then pinned me down and ruined me in ways I’ll never forget.

One night of raw, forbidden fire.

I thought it was over.

Until I realized the truth could destroy everything.

Now I’m running again-hunted by the Alpha who broke me, haunted by the King whose mark

still burns on my skin.

And the secret I carry?

It’s growing stronger every day.

Some bonds can’t be rejected.

Some kings won’t let their mate go.

Even if claiming her means war.

Chapter 1

Simone

The moans echoing from behind the cracked door should’ve been my first clue that this whole marriage thing was about to go sideways.

I stood there like an idiot, frozen in the hallway of this pretentious castle, listening to some woman beg my fiancé to fuck her harder. Real classy. Twenty-four hours before our wedding, and Prince Kellan was already showing me exactly what kind of husband he’d be.

My wolf snarled in my mind, all teeth and fury, ready to rip some throats out. And honestly, I was tempted to let her.

I pushed the door open wider, because apparently I’m a glutton for punishment, and got a front-row seat to my future husband pounding into one of my maids from behind. She was gripping the bedsheets like her life depended on it, and he was going at it like he was trying to win some kind of Olympic medal.

The betrayal hit me like a slap to the face, followed immediately by pure disgust. Not heartbreak because let’s be clear, I didn’t love this asshole, but the sheer disrespect of it all made my blood

boil.

I must’ve made some noise, because Kellan’s head whipped around, his blue eyes meeting mine while he was still buried deep inside another woman. The bastard didn’t even stop moving. Just kept thrusting away like I was some kind of casual observer instead of his fucking fiancée.

“Simone,” he called out, breathing heavy, that stupid smirk playing on his lips.

That was it. I spun around and bolted, my instincts screaming at me to run, fast.

“Simone, wait!” His voice chased after me, followed by some creative cursing. “Fuck, come back

here!”

Heavy footsteps pounded behind me as I practically sprinted down the ornate hallway. Of course he’d managed to pull out long enough to chase me down. How romantic.

His hand clamped down on my arm, spinning me around to face him. He didn’t look remotely sorry. If anything, he looked amused, like this was all some big joke.

“Hey, honey,” he said, that mischievous smile still plastered on his face. “You’re not mad, are you?” I stared at him, wondering if he’d hit his head recently. “Why would I be mad? Because I just found

the man I’m supposed to marry in less than twenty-four hours balls deep into a woman that’s not me?” I scoffed, jerking my arm free. “I shouldn’t have come here.”

“Don’t be like that, Simone.” His voice took on that patronizing tone that made me want to punch something. “I was just enjoying my last hours as a bachelor. Surely you can understand that, right?

A man has needs.”

“We’re engaged, Kellan. You’re not a bachelor.”

His expression shifted, annoyance flickering across his features. Probably because I’d called him by his name instead of his precious title.

“I didn’t think you’d be so affected by a quick burn of steam, honey. You’ve been so cold to me since you arrived…” He stepped closer, and I fought the urge to step back. “I just had to find warmth somewhere else. I didn’t think you even liked me so much to be affected by it.”
