If Nicole really tried to set him up, she’d just end up caught in her own trap-serves her right.
Nicole couldn’t blame him for fighting back-she started this, and he was just returning the favor.

But the odds of that were pretty slim-when Marley came in to set up the camera for the live stream, the door was left open.
So when Jett came to see him, he probably left the door open on purpose so Nicole could come in and close it after.
This was all premeditated.

After all, she was dying to marry into the Moore family-if something happened to him, it would only backfire on her.
And if he really decided to investigate, she’d be the one in hot water.
That’s why he was willing to play along for now, letting the drug take effect and using himself
