Honestly, she almost wished the gossip online was true-that her daughter really was Leo’s love child.

Nicole blurted out, her voice trembling, “Mom, do you think my stepdad knows about all
this?”
If he ever found out, who knows what he’d think of us-she couldn’t even imagine it.
Nicole knew her mom had totally planned to marry him from the very beginning.
With the way he is, if he ever uncovered the truth, who knows what kind of storm he’d unleash.
Her mom was scared out of her mind just thinking about what he’d do if he ever got his hands on those diaries and the paternity test results.
