Matthias let out a laugh. “What is wrong with people these days? Everything’s completely upside down.”
Their business partner looked at him in confusion. But Matthias just smiled and said, “It’s nothing.”
However, Celeste understood what Matthias was talking about.
First, it was Jorge; now, it was Narcissa. Both of them had come to her, speaking up for Wynn as if they were in the right.
If that wasn’t completely upside down, what was?

In another private room, Wynn had just learned of what Narcissa had done.
“You really didn’t have to.”
“I know. It wasn’t entirely for you. I just got back and was bored. So, I thought I’d have a little fun,” Narcissa said with a smile.
Wynn knew full well that it was for her after all. She smiled and said, “Thank you.” 2
“There’s no need for that,” Narcissa laughed.
Then she added, “Honestly, I’m still in a great mood. She actually thought I was serious about working with them -haha.”
Wynn smiled faintly.
Then Narcissa raised her eyebrow. “By the way, didn’t Kieran join YodaVision just to stand up for you? What’s going on with him now? I didn’t see him yesterday.”
Wynn paused her action at the mention of Kieran. “He’s fallen for Celeste.”
Narcissa froze. “That’s impossible. Perhaps…”
“It’s true.”
Narcissa fell silent again. She knew it wasn’t a joke from Wynn’s tone. She frowned, genuinely surprised.
In her mind, Kieran was stubborn and wilful. Someone like him, who had once been deeply into Wynn, wouldn’t just change his feelings so easily. 4
And he actually fell for Celeste, of all people?
Sure, Celeste was beautiful. But aside from that, Narcissa didn’t see anything particularly special about her. She was certainly not the type Kieran would go for.
After a moment, she came back to herself. “I didn’t expect her to be this… popular.”
She didn’t really know Matthias well. But his name alone carried weight.
Clearly, Celeste had told him what happened at YodaVision yesterday. Because when they ran into each other earlier, the look Matthias gave her was unmistakably cold.

Kieran and Matthias were both exceptional men. Yet, both of them had fallen for Celeste. How could she not be surprised?
Then they continued to chat a bit more.
Wynn checked her phone as they finished eating and prepared to leave.
“Trevor just texted. He’s free tonight and will be attending your homecoming dinner.”
Narcissa smiled. “Good. Since I’m back in Baumond, he’s helped me quite a bit. I was planning to thank him properly.”
Then she added with a teasing grin, “Of course, he’s only helping me because of you.” 2
Wynn smiled. “Alright, stop teasing me. You two already had a good relationship to begin with. So he would’ve helped you even without me.”

That afternoon, while Celeste was busy at work, she suddenly received a call from Jordyn.
“Mom, Dad called me. He wants to bring me to meet his friend who just came back from overseas. So, I won’t be able to have dinner at Granny’s tonight.” 13
