She stopped in front of Elnora, a flattering smile on her face.
“Ms. Finley, are you feeling any better?” Arnetta asked.
Elnora nodded and replied in a calm voice, “I’m feeling much better. I’ll probably return to work tomorrow.”
“How about you? Has your hand healed?” she asked, her eyes falling on Arnetta’s hand.
If she recalled, Elnora remembered that Arnetta had injured her hand when they met at the hospital that day.
Arnetta glanced at her hand and said, sounding calm, “It’s nothing serious. It’s almost healed.
“When the rigging wire fell, things got tense, so I instinctively reached for it and ended up getting scratched
Elnora nodded and replied calmly, “It’s a relief the injury wasn’t too bad.
Arnetta gave a warm smile and said softly, “Guess I got lucky after all.
