Chapter 641 This Feels So Good

Chapter 641 This Feels So Good

Albert’s urgency made Elnora feel unsettled.

After sitting down in the study, she zoned out in front of her computer for a while, trying to calm herself before she finally managed to focus on her work.

She stayed in the study until nine o’clock.

For some reason, she just couldn’t bring herself to look into Albert’s passionate eyes.

Lost in thought, Elnora sat in the study, turned off her computer, and gazed at her own reflection in the dark

screen.

She took a deep breath, steadied herself, then closed the laptop. The chair creaked softly as she stood up.

Meanwhile, Albert was coming downstairs.

As Elnora stepped out of the study, she came face to face with Albert, who was just descending the stairs.

Albert fixed his gaze on Elnora, a faint smile playing at his lips as he spoke casually.

“I was starting to think you didn’t have the guts to come upstairs, Ms. Finley,” he said with a smirk.

Elnora looked him straight in the eye, her voice steady and emotionless.

“Why wouldn’t I dare?” she replied.

Albert raised an eyebrow, standing at the stairway, watching her with a knowing smile but saying nothing.

Elnora calmly stepped onto the stairs, passing Albert as she went up.

Albert was right behind her, following her upstairs.

When they reached Elnora’s bedroom door, she paused and said softly, “I need to wash up first.”

Albert nodded, grinning from ear to ear.

“I’ve already got your bath ready for you,” he said.

Elnora just stared at him, lost for words.

Then she said, “Thanks, Mr. Campbell.”

Albert looked at her with gentle eyes and spoke softly.

“No need to thank me. It’s just what a husband should do,” he replied.

Elnora kept quiet, simply stepping into the bedroom.

For some reason, even though she and Albert had been together before, she felt even more nervous tonight

than the last time.

As Elnora soaked in the bathtub, she couldn’t help but feel a pang of regret in her heart.

‘Maybe I should’ve had a drink at dinner to give myself some courage,’ Elnora thought to herself.

Elnora stayed in the bathroom for quite some time, hesitating to come out until Albert finally knocked on the door. Only then did she open it and step outside.

Albert was waiting right at the door. When Elnora emerged, her hair still damp, he quietly took out a towel and began to gently dry her hair for her, his movements full of care.

Elnora saw what he was doing and lifted her hand, wanting to take the towel herself.

“I’ll do it myself,” she said.

Albert gently caught her hand, brought it to his lips, and kissed it softly.

“Let me,” he said in a gentle voice.

Elnora paused, and as she drew her hand back, something unreadable flashed in her eyes.

She looked down, quiet now.

The spot on the back of her hand where Albert had kissed her still tingled with heat, almost burning.

‘Get a grip, she told herself, forcing her wildly pounding heart to settle.

Albert gently guided Elnora to sit down in front of the dressing table.

He stood behind her, carefully drying her hair with a hair dryer.

His long fingers played through her damp hair, moving with a soft, almost intimate touch.

Albert lowered his gaze, watching as her hair twined around his fingertips.

Neither of them said a word. Elnora just sat quietly, letting Albert dry her hair for her, the silence between them charged with unspoken tension.

The heater wasn’t even on, yet somehow, the air between them felt inexplicably warm.

Once Albert finished drying Elnora’s hair, he set the hair dryer down.

Elnora remained seated in the chair, obedient and still.

Albert put the hair dryer away in the drawer, then turned to find Elnora still sitting in the same spot.

From his vantage point, Albert caught sight of Elnora’s fingers, curled ever so slightly.

Clearly, she was nervous.

Albert smiled, stepped over to Elnora, and wrapped his arms around her from behind, enveloping her in his embrace.

He gently covered her slightly clenched hands with his own, holding them in his warm grasp.

“Are you nervous, Elnora?” Albert asked gently.

Her brows knitted just a little as she looked up at him.

Albert leaned in and kissed her right then.

Everything that followed felt so natural, as if it was meant to be.

Albert carried Elnora over to the bed, his broad hands firmly holding her waist.

He started out gentle, taking his time with her.

But as things heated up, he started to lose control.

His movements got rougher, and soon he just couldn’t hold back anymore.

By the time it was deep into the night, Elnora was completely worn out. But Albert still wrapped himself

around her from behind, holding her tight, whispering sweet nothings and begging for more.

“Come on, just one more time,” he murmured.

Elnora shook her head.

Albert wrapped his hand around her waist and drew her close into his arms.

“Just one last time,” he murmured softly.

Elnora was utterly exhausted, her body completely drained of strength.

She raised her hand to push him away.

She tried to break free from Albert’s embrace, but he was far too strong for her.

In the end, she had no choice but to surrender to him.

By the time it was all over, Elnora was completely wiped out.

But Albert was still wide awake, like he could go another round.

He hurried to the bathroom, got the water ready, then scooped Elnora up and gave her a bath. After that, he carried her back to bed to rest.

Elnora lay sprawled on the bed, barely able to move, while Albert’s hand slipped around her waist, pulling her into his arms. He looked like he could run a marathon, still brimming with energy.

She was so tired she could barely keep her eyes open.

As Albert’s warm breath brushed against her neck, Elnora couldn’t help but nuzzle her head against him, trying to rub away that lingering heat.

Albert saw her little gesture and let out a low, amused laugh.

‘Wow, Elnora really does have an adorable side, Albert thought to himself.

And he realized he was the only one who ever got to see this side of her.

Suddenly, Albert didn’t mind at all that Elnora had ignored him all last week.

‘Maybe that’s just the way she is, he mused.

When it came to feelings, Elnora just couldn’t bring herself to make the first move.

But that was fine. If she wasn’t going to take the initiative, Albert would gladly do it for her. That night, she’d already stepped out of her comfort zone and reached for him first.

So from now on, he’d take the other ninety-nine steps to close the distance between them.

Albert leaned down and kissed Elnora on the forehead, taking in her gentle fragrance and feeling utterly

satisfied.

“Tomorrow, I’ll grab some protection,” he murmured.

Elnora opened her eyes at his words.

Albert looked down at her, his voice gentle.

“Elnora, we’re married. So feel free to be honest with me about what you want. I’m always here for you,” Albert said gently.

She murmured a soft “mm” in response.

Seeing she didn’t turn him down, all the tension Albert had been feeling melted away, and he finally relaxed. He hugged Elnora so tight, it was like he wanted to crush her right into himself.

Elnora felt like she was being squeezed breathless in his arms.

She pushed at him, trying to get some space.

“I can’t breathe,” she protested.

Albert finally loosened his grip a little.

Elnora felt like Albert was her own personal heater-always radiating warmth, never cooling down.

She was starting to feel overheated, so she pushed him away again.

“So hot,” she muttered.

Albert scooted over just a bit, giving her a little room.

Only then did Elnora close her eyes again.

But in the very next moment, he pressed himself right back against her, wrapping her up in his arms.

Elnora sighed quietly to herself, knowing she could only let him hold her.

Seeing that Elnora didn’t push him away again, Albert couldn’t stop the smile from spreading across his face.

‘Man, this feels amazing, Albert thought to himself.
