Chapter 643 He Isn’t Interested in Elnora
Elnora stood silently before the suit for a few seconds, then finally picked it up and put it on.
Albert was waiting outside the door the entire time.
After what felt like forever, Elnora finally stepped out of the walk-in closet.
The moment the closet door opened, Albert’s gaze went straight to the suit Elnora was wearing.
Seeing Elnora wearing the suit he’d chosen for her, Albert’s lips curled into a smile.
He’d thought she was taking so long because she was picking out a different suit.
Noticing the scarf around her neck, which matched the color of his tie, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.
After Elnora stepped out of the walk-in closet and saw Albert still waiting by the door, she spoke softly. “Let’s go downstairs for breakfast.”
Albert nodded, walked up to her, and gently fixed her scarf for her.
Elnora stood perfectly still, allowing Albert to tie her scarf without a word.
Seeing Elnora stand there quietly and let him help, Albert’s heart raced.
But Elnora just looked at him with that unruffled, almost aloof expression, and it made Albert feel a bit sour inside.
Trying to shake off the awkwardness, Albert broke the silence.
“Why the scarf?” he asked.
Elnora shot him a glance and answered flatly, “Ask yourself.”
Albert raised an eyebrow, and as he adjusted her scarf, he finally noticed the hickey on her pale neck.
He suddenly felt a bit embarrassed.
“Sorry,” he said. “I guess I got carried away last night. Couldn’t help myself.”
Elnora didn’t say a word.
Albert tried to keep the conversation going.
“You look great in that suit today,” he said.
Elnora just gave a casual “Yeah” and kept walking, her tone light with a hint of playful sarcasm.
“Give me something new,” she replied.
Albert was momentarily stunned, then his smile grew even wider.
Before, their conversations had always stayed on the surface. It was rare for Elnora to say more than just a couple of words to him.
“You’re even more gorgeous than usual today,” Albert said.
As soon as Albert finished, he heard Elnora let out a soft laugh ahead of him, with a hint of joy and playfulness in her voice.
The laugh was so quick and gentle that Albert wondered if he’d just imagined it.
He looked at Elnora’s face and saw a smile tugging at her lips, and his heart instantly softened.
“Ms. Finley, you look stunning when you smile, Albert said. “You really ought to smile more.”
Albert paused, then changed tack and lowered his voice. “Feel free to smile more when we’re at home.”
Elnora turned to Albert, her voice calm as she replied, “Are you saying I can’t smile when we’re outside?”
Albert shook his head immediately. “Of course not. Whenever you feel like it, just go ahead.”
Elnora smiled softly at him, said nothing, and turned to head downstairs.
Albert followed her downstairs.

Chapter 643 He Isn’t Interested in Elnora
Belinda had breakfast ready. When she saw Elnora and Albert coming downstairs together, she quickly served their breakfast.
After breakfast, Albert and Elnora left Southview Residence together.
Belinda watched them walk away, hoping they’d always have mornings like this.
Albert drove Elnora to the Campbell Group building.
Elnora unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the car door, ready to get out.
Albert watched her and called out softly, “I’ll go up with you. I need to talk to Kathy about something.”
Elnora gave a small nod.
They got out of the car together and walked into the Campbell Group building.
The receptionists at the front desk were visibly surprised to see the two of them arrive together.
Ever since Elnora started working at the Campbell Group, she and Albert had rarely appeared together in public.
Now, seeing them both dressed in matching couple’s work outfits, it was no wonder the receptionists were taken aback.
Albert could feel the receptionists’ eyes on them, so he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow and shoot Elnora a sideways look.
Elnora didn’t pay any attention to the looks they were getting and just headed straight for the elevator. Albert trailed after her, stepping into the elevator at her side.
When she caught Albert’s searching gaze, Elnora raised an eyebrow. “What’s up?”
Albert just shook his head with a smile.
“Honestly, I’m impressed. You walked right past the receptionists without even batting an eye,” Albert said. Elnora’s expression remained calm, her voice steady as she said, “I’m used to it. What about you, Mr. Campbell? Haven’t you gotten used to it yet?”
Elnora had always been watched since she was a child.
All those stares and attention? For Elnora, it was just part of her daily life.
During the toughest years for the Finley Group, the scrutiny was even more relentless.
But it didn’t matter if they were watching.
She wasn’t about to let their stares stop her in her tracks.
Stopping for them would only waste her time.
Albert was about to put his hand on Elnora’s waist, but paused for a second.
Last night, it had felt so easy and natural, but now, with Elnora standing there in her suit, calm and collected, his hand felt awkward, almost out of place.
When he finally touched her waist, it was so slender and soft that it gave him an unexpected sense of
reassurance.
“I’ll learn from you, Ms. Finley. I won’t let their attention bother me,” Albert said.
Elnora glanced at him and calmly moved his hand away from her waist.
“Honestly, I always thought you grew up in the spotlight too, so you’d be used to all the attention by now,” Elnora said.
After all, before and after their marriage, the Port City media never let up on Albert-not even for a day. Albert raised an eyebrow, realizing she meant the Port City media, and his tone softened, almost pleading.
“That’s all behind us now,” he said. “I just want to be with you and enjoy our life together.”
“I just want to be with you and enjoy our life together,” he added.

Elnora looked up at him.
“So, Mr. Campbell, are you thinking of going straight now?” she teased.
Albert nodded.
“Yes,” he said.
Elnora didn’t say anything, just gave a faint smile, her expression unreadable.
The elevator doors slid open onto the floor where Elnora’s office was.
Albert and Elnora stepped out together into the hallway.
On the way to Elnora’s office, they had to walk past Reese’s office.
As they headed that way, just a couple of steps away from Reese’s office door, they overheard Wilbur Campbell’s voice coming from inside.
“Reese, you’ve kept Albert out of the Campbell Group all these years because you’re afraid the company will end up back in the Campbell family’s hands, aren’t you? You’d rather let outsiders run the company than let Albert take charge-and Albert’s your own son,” Wilbur said.
Elnora and Albert both stopped right outside Reese’s office.
“And Elnora? She’s turned Supernova Entertainment into a complete mess. Albert has been busy cleaning up after her for weeks! If she was really so talented, the Finley Group wouldn’t have needed you to bail them out,” Wilbur sneered.
Wilbur’s tone was full of sarcasm and scorn. It was clear he didn’t think much of Elnora at all.
