Chapter 208 A Public Accusation
The moment he saw Yvonne, Chase’s entire demeanor changed. He handed the flowers to her, his face softening into a gentle smile.
“Yvonne, that must have been a tough exam. Is there any reward you want? Just tell Chase, and I’ll get it for you.”
He said this loud enough for Tracy to hear. He had expected her to look embarrassed, or perhaps to act as she used to and demand something for herself as well.
But he was disappointed. Tracy remained perfectly calm. She didn’t even spare him a glance. She had even stopped struggling.
Fine.
Yvonne accepted the flowers, a happy smile on her face. “Thank you, Chase.”
Then, as if only just noticing the situation, she looked at them in confusion. “Chase, where are you dragging Tracy?”
Chase snorted. “To the place she deserves to be. Yvonne, do you want to come along and watch a good show?”
How could he possibly watch such a great show all by himself? He had to invite an audience, otherwise, it would be no fun at all.
At that thought, Chase suddenly shouted to the candidates who were starting to leave, “Does anyone want to see some drama? Follow me! I guarantee you’ll see a huge scandal.”
The candidates up ahead turned around. Seeing Chase gripping Tracy’s arm, they immediately began to whisper.
“Who is that guy? Why is he grabbing that woman? And what does he mean by a ‘huge scandal’?”
“You guys don’t know? That’s the woman who was caught cheating. He’s probably dragging her to Mr. Waylon for a full investigation right now!”
“What? She’s the one who cheated? The rumors about her online were just cleared up, she’s in a cheating scandal. She’s going to be famous one way or another.”

“Exactly. You can tell just by looking at her she’s not a good person. Let’s follow them and see how Mr. Waylon handles someone with such a corrupt character.”
Hearing the crowd’s comments, Yvonne secretly smiled. But she put on a worried expression

and looked at Chase. “Chase, this isn’t a good idea, is it? Everyone is watching. How will my sister be able to face anyone after this?”
Chase sneered. “When you do something wrong, you have to bear the consequences. I refuse to cover for someone like her. Yvonne, you don’t need to feel bad. Tracy brought this entirely upon herself. If she isn’t punished, she’ll really start to think she’s untouchable.”
With that, Chase ignored Tracy’s protests and began to haul her away.
Tracy didn’t say a single word the entire time. She knew it was useless. Even if she spoke, no one would believe her. It was better to save her breath.
A large crowd, eager to watch the drama unfold, followed Chase and the others to the temporary office set up for the proctors.
Waylon happened to be in the office grading exams. He was still trying to understand what was happening when the large, angry mob burst in.
Before he could even react, Chase shoved Tracy, sending her sprawling to the floor. Waylon was startled and immediately rushed over to help her up.
“Ms. Xander, are you alright?” he asked, concerned.
Tracy shook her head.
After helping Tracy to her feet, Waylon turned to Chase. “Who are you? What is the meaning of this?”
To dare to push Tracy right in front of him-they clearly had no respect for him at all.
Seeing Waylon, Chase’s tone softened slightly. “Mr. Waylon, as Tracy’s brother, I am here to demand that you punish her severely. I have already heard about her cheating on the exam. Her personal behavior has created a terrible influence. I apologize for this, but we cannot condone her actions. I demand that she be punished to the fullest extent.”
His words caused an immediate uproar. Everyone in the crowd began to voice their suspicions, questioning Tracy’s scores and the integrity of the exam.
Some also began to speculate about Chase’s identity. Wasn’t Tracy supposed to be an orphan? Where did this “brother” suddenly come from?
And by the looks of it, this Chase clearly despised Tracy. To personally drag his own sister before the proctor over cheating….
It was truly shocking.
Waylon tried to have the proctors clear the room, but the crowd refused to leave. They

The proctor looked helpless. Waylon’s gaze scanned the crowd and landed on Yvonne, who was standing among them holding the bouquet. In that instant, he understood everything.
He fixed his gaze back on Chase and sneered. “Are you sure you’re her brother? Not her mortal enemy?”
Chase choked on his words.
He quickly recovered and righteously challenged Waylon, “Are you planning to protect Tracy just because of your connection to Mr. Zach? I am her brother, Chase. I know what kind of person she is far better than you do. She has been a pathological liar since she was a child. Her grades were terrible. She barely even scraped by to get a university diploma.”
