Chapter 212 Alma Mater

Tracy accepted the paper, grabbed a pen, and went to one side to begin. Yvonne, not to be outdone, went to the other side.

The crowd watched intently, glancing between the two. It was immediately obvious that Tracy was working at a much faster pace than Yvonne.
Tracy finished the entire test in just ten minutes and handed it in. “I’m finished. You can grade it now.”
The questions had been very simple for her, all related to specialized professional knowledge. But she knew that what was simple for her wasn’t necessarily simple for others. After all, everyone was at a different level.
Chase saw Tracy turn in her paper. He glanced at Yvonne, who was only about halfway through.
He sneered. “What a show. Anyone who didn’t know better would think you’re brilliant, but you’re just faking it. You’re so desperate to compete with Yvonne that you’re not even taking this seriously. This is your only chance to prove your innocence, and you’re throwing it away. When the results come out, don’t you dare say we bullied you. You’re the one who didn’t take this seriously.”
His Yvonne hadn’t even finished, so Tracy must have just scribbled down random answers.
Waylon’s face darkened. He turned to Blue. “He’s disruptive. Remove him.”
Blue understood and moved to escort Chase out.
“On what grounds?” Chase retorted. “I’m her brother! I have a right to know the result.”
“Then shut your mouth,” Waylon snapped.
Afraid of being thrown out, Chase immediately clamped his mouth shut. He was seething, but he swallowed his pride.
When Yvonne saw Tracy finish so quickly, her eyes filled with contempt. She must not have known the answers and just scribbled nonsense to get it over with. Even I couldn’t finish that fast. Tracy has lost for sure!
At this thought, Yvonne’s confidence swelled. She felt a surge of joy as she finished her own paper.
The proctor began grading Tracy’s paper. He suddenly exclaimed in amazement, “Ms. Xander, this unique analytical method you’ve used… it’s completely novel! I’ve never seen anything like it. Is this a method you developed yourself? And you’ve listed several different solutions… This

is incredible!”
Finishing in ten minutes was already baffling. But this unique solution proved she was on another level. This was the work of a true genius. No wonder Waylon was so adamant about protecting her. Talented people were common, but geniuses were rare. The first-place spot undoubtedly belonged to Tracy.
Hearing the proctor, Chase stared in disbelief. “Impossible! How could Tracy be that brilliant? You must be lying! She’s just a graduate from an ordinary university. How could she possibly be this good?”
She’s just a regular undergrad! How can she be better than Yvonne? This is impossible! Absolutely impossible!
Waylon looked at Chase as if he were a lunatic. “Who told you she graduated from an ordinary university? Cloud University is her alma mater. She is literally back at her own school for this exam. You claim to be her brother, yet you don’t even know where your own sister went to college? It seems to me you’re just pretending to be related to her so you can destroy her. And if you want to keep questioning our integrity, feel free. Go file a complaint. We have nothing to hide and welcome any investigation.”
He truly couldn’t understand it. In his experience, brothers were supposed to protect their sisters. But Chase was doing nothing but trying to tear Tracy down. He wasn’t acting like a brother at all.
Tracy sneered. “He’s right. He is not my brother. He is a demon who is obsessed with destroying me for Yvonne’s sake. You say you’re my brother? What proof do you have? Everyone knows the Xander family only has one daughter, Yvonne. Since when am I your sister? You shouldn’t go around claiming random people as your family just to ruin them. Yvonne will be very upset, won’t she, Chase?”
He can’t just frame me and expect to walk away clean. They caused me trouble; it’s only polite to return the favor. I’ll give them a taste of trouble. Let Yvonne feel what it’s like to be speechless and unable to defend herself.
Someone in the crowd recognized Chase and shouted, “My god, that really is Chase! He’s actually lying about his sister!”
“I’ve heard the Xander family only has one daughter! Why is he falsely claiming this woman as his sister just to destroy her?”
The revelation sent a shockwave through the crowd, which immediately erupted in loud,
accusatory murmurs.
