Chapter 218 A Hazy Night
His tone on the other end softened noticeably. “Come open the door and get something.”
After hanging up, Tracy took a few deep breaths, let one out, and went to open the door.
Sean’s tall figure was standing right there. After one glance, Tracy instinctively looked away. Even though what happened last night had happened without her knowledge, the fact remained that he had seen her. She wasn’t thick-skinned enough to face him calmly after that.
Sean’s lips curved up. “Shy now? I wonder who it was that took the initiative to kiss me last night.”
Tracy’s head snapped up to meet his gaze, but she quickly looked away again, subconsciously rubbing her teeth. She didn’t know why, but when she woke up, her teeth had felt a little sore, as if she’d knocked them against something.
Did I really act like a creep last night? I… force-kissed Sean? Am I that wild when I’m drunk?
Sean stretched out a long arm, pulling her in front of him. He leaned in and whispered in her ear, “You took advantage of me last night. Not only did you force-kiss me, but you also ripped my shirt. Tell me, how are you going to compensate me?”

Chapter 219 The Morning After
Tracy’s breath hitched. Was I really that wild last night? Why does this feel so… off?
Her ear itched. Tracy reached up to scratch it, but her fingers accidentally brushed against Sean’s lips. She snatched her hand back as if she’d been electrocuted.
They were pressed close together. Sean’s arm was around her waist, his warm breath fanning her neck, sending her pulse and breathing into chaos.
She explained guiltily, “I… I didn’t, did I?”
Sean’s lips curved. He seemed to be in a very good mood. “I knew you wouldn’t admit it. The button from my shirt is still on your sofa. You can go look if you don’t believe me.”
With that, he released her and unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his Adam’s apple.
Tracy swallowed. On his exposed shoulder, she saw a bite mark, already scabbed over.
Did I do that, too?

Before she could process it, Sean said, “And this bite mark. You did this. Tell me, how should I punish you?”
It really was her. She was learning for the first time that she was a complete creep when she was drunk. To assault this untouchable man… Oh god, I wish lightning would strike me dead.
This was so mortifying.
She stammered, “Sorry, I was drunk last night, I wasn’t in my right mind. I apologize. I… I’ll put some ointment on it for you. Yes, ointment. I’ll go buy some now.”
She grasped at the excuse, desperate to escape the suffocating atmosphere. Her heart was pounding in her throat. She swore to herself she would never drink again. “Nothing good ever comes from drinking” was absolutely true. She would never dare to do something so outrageous while sober; she’d be too afraid of being slapped to death.
Sean grabbed Tracy as she tried to flee. “Don’t go yet. Last night, you also said you wanted to marry me. That you wanted to go get the license. Is that offer still valid?”
Tracy looked up at him, stunned. She met his gaze but couldn’t read any emotion in his eyes. He didn’t seem to be lying.
She’d just had a few drinks… and managed to promise herself away? Why did she find that so hard to believe?

insane.
By now, there wasn’t a person in Northport who didn’t know what she and Chase had done. And the one to blame for it all… was Tracy.
