The scythe left long, deep gashes on the steel crocodiles but could not deliver a fatal blow in one hit.
“The crocodiles have a thick hide even before they transform, so it’s understandable that their defense is strong. But that won’t be enough to save them.”
The steel crocodiles might be able to endure a single strike, but the accompanying electrical current penetrated their bodies through the wounds. The powerful electrical current shocked that part of the body, making that part unable to move.
It was like being paralyzed.
Suddenly, several steel tails whipped toward Victor like metal spears.
Victor was taken aback. He didn’t want to know what it was like to be struck by a steel crocodile’s tail. He activated the thruster and swiftly dodged while continuing to swing the scythe, which produced sharp, piercing sounds.
Every swing left a glaring scar on the mechanical crocodiles.
In just a few minutes, more than half of the ferocious mechanical crocodiles had been incapacitated.
The smile on the monkey king’s face vanished, replaced by deep terror and unease. It did not expect the ferocious crocodiles to lose to Victor.
The monkey king turned and fled in desperation.
Victor looked at the fleeing monkey king but didn’t immediately pursue it.
He wouldn’t abandon the steel crocodiles as they actually dropped advanced Source Crystals, which were very enticing to him.
Several minutes later, Victor cleared the entire crocodile zone and collected twenty-three advanced Source Crystals.
“Use ordinary Source Crystals to replenish power.”
The ordinary Source Crystals in his internal space vanished one after another, their energy gradually injected into the engine.

ones.
However, recovering power with advanced Source Crystals felt too wasteful. Intermediate Source Crystals should be good enough.
Advanced Source Crystals might contain really good items such as equipment, skills, or even modules.

However, right now, Victor didn’t have time to open the advanced Source Crystals he had just obtained.
He had to chase after the monkey king or it would run too far for him to catch up.
If the monkey king fled the zoo, it would be incredibly difficult to find it in a big city like Riverside.
Therefore, Victor immediately ran in the direction the monkey king had disappeared to.
While Victor was pursuing the monkey king, a group of mecha approached the zoo entrance.
Leading this group were uniformly colored, earth-toned mecha. If Victor saw them, he would undoubtedly recognize them, as they looked exactly like the fifteen-meter heavyweight mecha he dismantled.
“Boss, the mechanical creatures in this zoo are definitely powerful. We’re sure to get tons of high-grade Source Crystals here.”
“Be careful when you guys go in. If you damage your mecha, I’ll make you suffer,” Terrence Wilson said.
He himself was piloting an ultra-heavyweight mecha standing at seventeen meters tall, transformed from a custom-made haul truck. It was the true pinnacle of all starter mecha.
