“Gather!” Victor quickly stored the advanced Source Crystal in his internal space.
Once he had collected it, he slowly turned around.
“A mecha? Oh, it’s you.”
With just one look, Victor recognized who it was.
Terrence could also see Victor clearly now.
Originally, Terrence wanted the advanced Source Crystal produced by the monkey king.
But now, the plan had changed. He desired the war scythe Victor was holding even more.
It looked incredibly powerful.
“A twelve-meter mecha. You’re quite lucky. I’m Terrence Wilson, from Riverside Mining. Have you heard of me?”
Terrence introduced himself, a hint of pride in his voice.
In Terrence’s eyes, Victor was not a serious threat. After all, Victor’s mecha was not that big compared to his.
Based on the information they had so far, the simplest way to gauge a mecha’s combat power was by its size. The combat power of Terrence’s seventeen-meter mecha was 20 points higher than a fifteen-meter mecha.
Victor’s twelve-meter mecha, even with a new weapon, couldn’t be that powerful.
Besides, Terrence brought nearly thirty mecha with him. Surely they could handle a twelve-meter mecha?
However, Terrence preferred to win people over with virtue. He didn’t want to simply snatch the war scythe, he wanted Victor to become his subordinate.
To Terrence, Victor himself was undoubtedly a strong asset too.
“Terrence Wilson. I know you,” Victor replied. In fact, his mecha got its engine from dismantling a mecha owned by Terrence.
“Good. Join me. I promise you won’t regret it,” Terrence offered generously without even specifying the benefits Victor would receive.
In Terrence’s view, his name was enough. There was nothing more convincing than that,
“Are you not right in the head?” Victor’s tone turned icy. He had initially considered recruiting Terrence. He couldn’t believe Terrence was trying to recruit him instead.
“What did you say?” Terrence asked, unsure if he had heard correctly. He couldn’t believe Victor had the audacity

“Riverside Zoo is my territory now. Go back whence you came. If you don’t leave right now, you’ll suffer the consequences.”
“You daft fool, are you crazy? Bro, stop talking to him. Let’s just kill him!” a lackey next to Terrence shouted angrily.
Terrence didn’t immediately respond, but he visibly trembled with anger.
After a few seconds of silence, he burst out laughing. “Haha, it’s been a long time since anyone spoke to me like that. Kill him, but be careful not to damage his weapon.”
