Terrence had no intention of fighting Victor himself.
With a casual order from him, almost thirty mecha rushed at Victor. This was a time for his lackeys to demonstrate their loyalty.
It should be noted that all these mecha belonged to Terrence, so he had complete control. If Terrence revoked his authorization, his lackeys would no longer be able to operate these mecha.
However, Victor did not think much of these mecha.
“A bunch of trash.”
He didn’t even want to look at them.
Were they mecha?
In the hands of these people, they were merely cumbersome clunks of metal wobbling around, looking as if they would topple with a single touch.
But it wasn’t entirely their fault. The apocalypse had just begun, so who in the world could match Victor in piloting skill?
“A cocky one, huh? Let’s take him down!”
A lightweight mecha was the first to charge at Victor. Victor was surprised to see the mecha rushing towards him.
If he wasn’t mistaken, the mecha should be a ranged mecha, as he noticed the weapon the mecha was holding was a gun. Actually, it was a decently powerful proton freezing gun.
The original form of this mecha should be some kind of expensive sports car. If it had transformed from an ordinary vehicle, it would only get an ordinary machine gun, rifle, or shotgun after choosing to be a ranged type.
Freezing guns or high-heat guns are high-end weapons that can only be owned by high-end mecha.
But why was this ranged mecha rushing in to engage in a close-combat fight instead of staying back to shoot?
Victor was baffled, but only those who had chosen ranged type could understand the mecha’s dilemma.
With their inexperience in controlling the mecha, expecting them to hit a target from afar was completely
unrealistic.
Thus, the only choice current ranged mecha had was to close in on the target before shooting.
If they did that, at least they would have slightly higher chances of hitting,
That was what the lightweight ranged mecha charging towards Victor was trying to do,
However, his plan was too optimistic. When he reached what he deemed an appropriate distance, he had also entered Victor’s attack range.
The war scythe itself was ten meters long. Even though Victor held it closer to the middle, the scythe could still extend more than ten meters.
After all, Victor’s arm was about five meters long.

The shot didn’t even come close to grazing Victor.
On the other hand, Victor’s war scythe sliced through the air with a sharp whoosh, and a purple electric arc flashed across the lightweight mecha’s chest.
The scythe’s sharpness combined seamlessly with Victor’s strength. The destructive force of that one strike instantly cleaved the lightweight mecha in half.
Not only did the lightweight mecha get split, the human piloting the mecha inside also met the same fate.
Under normal circumstances, the human piloting a mecha would be positioned in the torso of the mecha.
Following that, the sound of metallic friction and metallic collision filled the air.
All the mecha that were charging towards Victor stopped like they had hit a pause button. They tumbled together in a chaotic heap.
However, the chaos among the mecha could not even compare to the turmoil within those piloting them.
What did they just witness?
One swing of the scythe had obliterated a mecha completely. Such terrifying power!
Fortunately, their mecha were slower and did not charge in as quickly as that lightweight one, or they might have faced the same fate.
Terrence was equally shocked. He expected Victor to be a decent fighter, but he didn’t know Victor would be this formidable.
Naturally, that made him desire Victor’s war scythe even more.
